Vesna Jacob is not your ordinary fitness expert. She is a Physiotherapist, an Author, a Pilates & Wellness expert, a Motivational Speaker and a Clinical Hypnotherapist—almost a fitness superwoman! Her fitness studio, Alta Celo is where an array of services that cater to all three dimensions of fitness are offered—be it your mind, body or soul, each bit of you will feel healthy!


Functional fitness 

Functional fitness focuses on building a body capable of doing real-life activities in real-life positions, not just lifting a certain amount of weight in an idealised posture created by a gym machine. In functional fitness, you should be standing on your own two feet and supporting your own weight when you lift anything.

3D Pilates

 Vesna's 3D Pilates is inspired by ancient Eastern traditions of balance of Life, guided by Pilates principles of pain free body which is a "Prerequisite of happiness" and supported by new understanding of the bio-mechanical science, which takes the body through all planes of motion. This innovative conditioning program will give you safe, fun, yet effective workout that benefit your Body, Mind and Soul in all three planes. 


Vesna is one of the pioneers of Pilates in India. Pilates is a low impact way of exercising which is easily adjusted to every one’s physical condition which makes it suitable for any group age or physical condition. It focuses on the Core of the body which represents deep abdominal muscles, transverses muscles and back muscles. It improves ones posture, eases back and neck pain, improves concentration and overall well being. 

At Vesna's alta celo both one to one and group classes Classical Mat classes are offered as well as sessions done with  the aid of Magic ring, Swiss ball, Theraband, and equipment such as, Wunda Chair, or Ladder Barrel.

Reformer Pilates   

Pilates reformer exercises offer a great deal of versatility. Workouts can be completed sitting, pulling the straps of the machine, lying down, standing, pushing the foot bar, on the foot bar, on the shoulder blocks, using additional equipment, sideways, upside down and more. 

Pole fitness 

Classes are often women-only, though more and more mixed classes are popping up.  A typical class begins with stretches, followed by lifts and moves on the pole. The lifts and tricks tone muscles, while high-intensity routines provide a cardio workout.

Aerial Yoga 

There are some serious health benefits associated with Anti-Gravity Yoga. It’s better than an inversion table. It gives you the chance to hang freely, allowing your spine to lengthen. In addition to decompressing the spine, Anti-Gravity Yoga can help to increase strength and flexibility, as well as bring you greater awareness of your body.                 

Barre Fitness 

Vesna's Alta Celo is probably the first studio in Delhi to offer Ballet Barre classes. Most Bare-based classes use a combination of postures inspired by ballet and other disciplines like yoga and Pilates. The Bare is used as a prop to balance while doing exercises that focus on isometric strength training holding your body still while you contract a specific set of muscles combined with high reps of small range-of-motion movements. It strengthens your deepest belly muscles pulling in your waist like a corset, while lifting your butt, trimming your thighs, toning your arms. It also whips into shape your perfect posture muscle, so you will stand straighter after a single session.

Barre classes are available for both Beginners as well as Advanced practitioners.


Alta Celo offers a range of rehabilitation services after any injury, illness or surgery. Using a variety of methods including Funtional Movement Therapy, conventional physiotherapy, Pilates clients can safely regain strength, relearn skills or find new ways of doing things you did before. 

Posture Correction Classes & Workshops, nutritional counseling and detox regimes are also available. 




Hypnotherapy creates subconscious change in a client in the form of new responses, thoughts, attitudes, behaviours or feelings. 


Meditation is an approach to training the mind, similar to the way that fitness is an approach to training the body.



Vesna is a powerful Reiki practitioner and energy healer. Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. 


Crystal healing is an  alternative medicine technique that employs stones and crystals. Adherents of the technique claim that these have healing powers. At Vesna's alta celo the practitioner places crystals on different parts of the body, often corresponding to so-called "chakras"; or else the practitioner places crystals around the body in an attempt to construct an "energy grid", which is purported to surround the client with healing energy.
