Copenhagen is the capital and most populated city of Denmark, Europe, but it doesn't bother, when the population comprises mainly of the happiest people in the world. Copenhagen has been in the past, characterized as one of the most liveable city and indeed quite tourist friendly as well. It is best to visit the city during the warm period from early May to late August. The official currency used in Copenhagen is Krones, though Euro can be used at some places , but it is advisable to carry Krones. English is widely spoken and the most convenient way, to commute would be by a bicycle, which of course you will get familiar with, once you experience its world famous biking culture. Don’t be too amused, if you see young girls riding bikes in party dresses with high heels, businessmen in suits and even politicians riding bikes to offices or parliament. You don’t need to bring your bike, as it can be rented in the city with a built in GPS, for 25Kr( INR 184.82) per hour, 75Kr( INR 554.47) for a day’s rental and 350Kr( INR 2587.51) for a week or for an even more cheaper alternative, borrow a city bike and go for a tour to the centre of the Copenhagen, enjoy sightseeing and eat your way through the city.
