ITC Grand Bharat
ITC grand Bharat is a one of its kind golf resort designed by the legendary golf player, Jack Nicklaus. Nicklaus, nicknamed “The Golden Bear”, is an American professional golfer. He is widely regarded as the greatest professional golfer of all time, having won a total of 18 career major championships over a span of 25 years.

The golf course at ITC Grand Bharat comprises of an 18-hole Signature Championship Course, a 9-hole Signature Canyon Course, as well as a Social Club and Sports Complex that offers non-golfing sports and recreational activities. The Classic Golf Resort is exclusively a members only Club, open for their guests also.

Location: ITC Grand Bharat is located in Gurgaon and is about 32 kms from Indira Gandhi International Airport.  Location is one of the USP of this resort as it lies in the middle of the Golden Triangle – a world famous tourism circuit emcompassing Delhi, Agra and Jaipur.

Other activities: Other activities at the resort besides golf are a pro shop, a health club and yoga room, steam and sauna, multi-cuisine restaurant and bar, lawn bowling and croquet. The sports block has squash courts, tennis courts and a billiards room. The swimming pool has separate baby pools and is operational from April to October. And of course the famous spa Kaya Kalp is also there to help to recreate and rejuvenate.

Springfield Village Golf and Spa’s sister resort the Springfield Royal Country Club was designed by Jack Nicklaus and developed from 1991 - 1993. It is a world class golf course maintained to the highest international standards.

Beautifully maintained, the Springfield Royal Country Club presents the golfer with a wonderful, 27 beautifully designed, landscaped holes - each challenges the golfer’s senses of aesthetics as well as their golfing skills. It is a true Jack Nicklaus masterpiece. A championship course with five sets of tees to play from, the course offers varying degrees of difficulty that accentuate the dramatic lush landscape. Be prepared for some long carries if you are brave enough to play from the back tees. It is one of the best courses you will ever play.

Location: Springfield Village, Golf & Spa is located between the cities of Hua Hin and Cha-Am, on Thailand’s east coast, some two hours south of Bangkok. The beach resort looks out on the Gulf of Thailand. There are various major flight carriers from all over the world to Bangkok in Thailand.

The Peepal Kothi

The Peepal Kothi is a boutique farm stay with 5 cottages with accommodation on AP basis. It is surrounded by a large variety of indigenous and exotic trees, flowering bushes and extensive lawns. It has in its vicinity some of the finest golf courses of North India. Just a kilometre away is the Classic Golf and Country Club. Situated on 350 acres of land surrounded by the Aravallis, it is a 27 hole championship signature course designed by the legendary Jack Nicklaus. A little further away (3 kms) is India’s first gated golf community , the Tarudhan Valley Golf Resort, with a challenging 9 hole course designed by Graham Cooke. Karma Lakelands is a picturesque 9 hole golf course designed by Pacific Coast Design from Australia, is just 7 kms away from Peepal Kothi. Another 18 holes links style golf course designed by Hawtree, the Golden Greens is only 12 km away. Thus Peepal Kothi is almost in the heart of India’s golfing county.

Location: This resort is located at a distance of 30 kms from Gurgaon and is about 50 kms from New Delhi. Follow National Highway 8 from Delhi  to Jaipur. After 40 kms turn left at Rampura More and follow the Rampura- Tauru road. Peepal Kothi is 1 km short of The Classic Golf and Country club, located on this road.

Other activities: The Peepal Kothi is a member of the International Slow Food movement. Learn the intricacies of local cuisines from village women and, learn traditional pottery from their resident potter. The Sultanpur bird sanctuary (20 kms) is worth a visit during winters and you can visit The Heritage Transport Museum at Tauru (15 kms).

Citrus County Farm Stays, Hoshiarpur, Punjab

This is a farm stay based in rural north India. It is based on a working citrus farm. The accommodation consists of 9 luxury tents and 3 guest rooms within the main villa. The resort is surrounded by citrus trees on 3 sides and a rural village on one side. It boasts of lush green lawns and a number of fruit bearing trees. A 15 minutes drive from the resort leads to beautiful golf course of 9 greens and 18 tees; this is based in a police training camp. In the resort itself there is a putting green and a sand bunker for those who want to golf while sipping their beer.

  Hoshiarpur is a small town situated in north India, in the state of Punjab. It is an n interesting town with an old bazaar, selling wooded handicrafts and an array of colourful clothes. The outskirts of hoshiarpur are green fields growing seasonal crops, lots of fruit trees and a feel of rural India.

Location: Located in Hoshiarpur in Punjab one of the options to reach the resort from Delhi would be the Shatabdi train which runs twice daily. The other option is for the guest to fly into Amritsar spend the day visiting sites there and then in the evening drive to Citrus County.

 Other activities: A large part of the day can be spent on the citrus farm, fruit plucking and then having a hearty lunch set up within the orchard.  A visit to the town, market is a must even if there is no actual shopping involved the old market is worth a visit.

A walk through the village lets you have a feel of life in rural India. A ride in a trolley behind a tractor is full of fun and frolic as you bump along the dirt track in the farm.

For the more adventurous ones there is a jungle safari through a forest reserve about 20 minutes away from the resort
